At Growlink our products are critical components of our customers’ grow operations, and as such require thorough, diligent testing and validation. A QA Engineer at Growlink will be responsible for collaborating throughout our entire development process, building test plans as requirements are determined, creating integration and regression tests, and performing validation on new products and features before being moved into production or installation.

A QA Engineer will be responsible for performing both software and hardware QA at the functional level and should be able to use the necessary tools and processes to verify that new products and features meet the defined requirements, are ready for production use, and do not introduce new issues or defects related to regression of existing functionality.

Additionally, a QA Engineer will be responsible for working closely with the Support and Development teams to identify issues discovered in production products and systems and to create clearly defined, actionable reports so those issues can be resolved quickly.

Our development team leverages Azure DevOps CI/CD on Microsoft .NET and Azure platforms, so it’s critical that a QA Engineer is familiar with deploying, running, and testing .NET web applications and Xamarin mobile apps. They also must be comfortable using proprietary Growlink applications to interact with Growlink product hardware and verify that device firmware is working reliably and accurately, based on the inputs and configuration defined by using Growlink software.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build test plans based on given product requirements
  • Manage test environments and a product lab
  • Validate newly developed products and features
  • Perform automated regression testing
  • Coordinate with the business for scheduling and deploying tested, validated products
  • Work quickly, efficiently, and accurately to assure successful release of quality products
  • Effectively communicate issues with the Growlink team for a quick, smooth resolution
  • Collaborate successfully with all Growlink stakeholders, including Sales, Production, Install, and Support teams



  • Proven experience bringing quality products from development to deployment
  • Strong experience working with Azure Portal, Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, VS Code, and test tools such as Selenium, SoapUI, etc.
  • Significant computer competency – Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

QA Engineer


A Field Technician and Support Engineer is an important role at Growlink.  Our Production, Installation, and Client Success Teams work together to ensure our clients are completely satisfied.   The job includes traveling to customer sites to install our products in their greenhouses or indoor grow rooms and integrate them with existing systems. Required skills include low-voltage wiring, basic plumbing, and wireless networking. We will train thoroughly on our hardware and software products. Field Technicians must be mobile device and computer savvy for programming and training customers on how to use our platform.

Position involves travel as well as office time for production support and technical support. Applicants must be available to travel throughout the US and Canada. (Passport is required.) Typical installs take one to three days.

APPLICANTS SHOULD BE FAMILIAR WITH EITHER INDOOR AGRICULTURE/GREENHOUSES OR THE CANNABIS CULTIVATION INDUSTRY. They should be extremely organized, friendly with customers, and motivated to work hard in a fast-paced environment. They must be willing to troubleshoot job site issues, problem solve on the fly, and remain calm under pressure. Our solutions are custom and every job has different challenges to overcome. They will be the public face of our company and must maintain a professional appearance and have a great attitude.

The Support Engineer portion of the job derives naturally from the Field Technician skill set and is an integral part of our Client Success team.  When not in the field our technicians rotate through the Client Support queue to help resolve support tickets and client inquiries.  We are fanatical about supporting our clients and all employees play a role in providing support.  

Additionally, aesthetics are as important as functionality with our products. Our customers are proud to have our systems in their facilities and they must be cleanly and professionally installed. Wiring and plumbing should both work well and be pleasing to look at. (Please provide photos of wiring jobs you have performed.)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Travel to clients’ sites to install Growlink hardware and software 
  • Build relationships with client employees and contractors to provision our product
  • Work quickly, efficiently, and accurately to assure a successful installation
  • Troubleshooting issues as they arise 
  • Professionalism in every activity
  • Proactively communicate information across all internal and external partners.
  • Update Growlink Systems (Hubspot, MS Teams, Knowledge Base) daily
  • Answer client support calls, emails and tickets quickly and thoroughly
  • Collaborate with Production, Install, and Client Success teams 


  • Proven experience installing agricultural and/or cannabis grow systems and technologies
  • Track record of satisfied client engagements
  • Experience working with MS Teams, Hubspot, Ladder Drawings, and CAD Drawings.
  • Computer competency – MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Strong communication, social intelligence, and interpersonal skills.  Phone, Email, Text, Video. 
  • Self motivated and driven
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent.  Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering are pluses
  • Travel 25-50%

Field Technician & Support Engineer

This position is responsible for the direct sale of company products and services by identifying , estimating or coordinating and selling projects so as to meet or exceed his/her Booking and Booked Gross Margin budgets.

Develop new business opportunities
May prepare estimates and take offs
Qualify prospective sales opportunities to determine which opportunities to pursue
Prepare sales proposals
Write specifications
Generate and implement sales presentations
Process and analyze feasibility assessments and/or all bid/contract documents

From time to time assist other departments with project implementation, service activities,

Sales Representative

This position is accountable for the promotion and sale of Growlink products/solutions/services to OEM accounts. Develops new sales opportunities as well as addresses and services the needs of established accounts. Utilizes excellent offering, application, competitor, and customer knowledge to develop and present winning value propositions for Growlink solutions. Responsible for developing account penetration strategies to profitably grow the business.

Key responsibilities and activities include:

Sets goals and objectives, develops/enacts sales/business strategies, establishes call plans and strategies, develops account profiles, and executes sales plans. This frequently is in coordination with channel and/or other Growlink sales assets.
Applies market and account skills necessary for dealing with target customer audiences.
Overall account management duties of an assigned customer list
Maintains a high level of customer satisfaction through increased availability/access, timely communication, assisting with orders, and following up on accounts. This also includes having an in-depth knowledge of the customer’s organization, a mutually trusting relationship, and an account dedication.
Responsible for a superior working knowledge in motor control & discrete automation in addition to electrical systems.

Documented success selling Agtech control and automation in the OEM market space
Strategic selling is second nature. Has the ability to uncover decision-makers, penetrate C-level, and determine/address personal motivations.
Ability to conceptualize both technical and commercial strategies.
Consultative salesperson, not a “presenter” or order taker
Has general working knowledge (sales level) of agtech controls, sensors, and monitoring.
