Our origin

We didn’t start by building software. We started by solving a cultivation problem.

Over the years we watched cultivation operations invest in more sensors, more automation, and more software. Yet many facilities still struggled with the same problems:

  • Knowledge trapped in spreadsheets, SOPs, and individual experience
  • Rooms that drifted from targets despite monitoring
  • Teams making different decisions in identical environments
  • Harvests that generated data, but not learning
We believed cultivation deserved a system that could improve over time. That belief became Growlink.

Started with a simple idea: growers deserve better visibility into what’s happening in their facilities. First connected grow controllers shipped.
2017
Commercial cultivation expansion
Growlink adopted by commercial operators across North America. Precision irrigation controllers and substrate sensing introduced.
2020
GrowlinkOS launches
Unified platform for environmental control, irrigation, and facility operations. Portal 2.0 gives operators a single view across rooms and facilities.
2023
Blueprints introduced
Cultivation strategy becomes repeatable. Digital models of how a cultivar should be grown — climate, irrigation, fertigation, lighting — executed consistently across rooms.
